Rahama Sadau is an award-winning Nigerian actress, singer, filmmaker, and entrepreneur. Widely known for her fierce independence, exceptional talent, and controversial yet highly successful crossover from Kannywood to mainstream Nollywood, she is one of the most recognized Northern actresses globally.
Born on December 7, 1993, in Kaduna State, Nigeria, Rahama grew up in a supportive, culturally grounded family. Her early fascination with Bollywood and Indian cinema sparked her lifelong ambition to become an actress and a global storyteller.
She received her primary and secondary education in Kaduna State. To further her academic and professional horizon, she enrolled at the Eastern Mediterranean University in Malaysia, where she obtained a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management.
Rahama officially joined the Kannywood movie industry in 2013, making her debut in the movie Gani Ga Wane. She quickly rose to absolute superstardom. Following a controversial suspension from Kannywood in 2016, she seamlessly transitioned into Nollywood, starring in the hit series Sons of the Caliphate, Up North, and Chief Daddy 2. She later launched her own production company, Sadau Pictures.
