Stories go through the publishing desk, with bylines on the page. If we get something wrong, say so — corrections belong on the record, not in a private argument. Profiles are editorial too; they are not paid listings, and they can be updated when the facts move.
Reader comments exist so a story can be argued with in public. They wait for a human before they appear. The staff area of the site is separate, and it is not a community platform.
