These terms
By using Kobogist you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
We write for a general audience. Nothing here is professional advice — legal, financial, medical, or otherwise. Stories can be updated as facts change.
Who we are
Kobogist is a digital magazine covering Nigerian news, culture, and the people shaping it, published at kobogist.com. Editorial and reader enquiries go to [email protected].
The registered legal entity behind the masthead is not listed on this site yet. Until that is confirmed, Kobogist is the name of the publication you are dealing with.
Using the site
You may read Kobogist for personal, non-commercial use. You may share links to our stories. You may not scrape the site in a way that harms it, overload our servers, or pretend to be Kobogist.
Some areas including /admin — are for staff only. Accessing them without permission is not allowed.
Our content
Stories, headlines, artwork, the Kobogist name and mark, and the way the site is put together belong to Kobogist or to the people who licensed them to us. You may quote short passages with credit and a link, in line with ordinary fair dealing for criticism, review, or news reporting. You may not copy whole articles, republish our photos as your own, or train a model on our pages without permission.
If you believe something on Kobogist infringes your rights, email [email protected] with the URL and an explanation. We will look at it.
Profiles
The profiles directory is editorial. Entries describe public figures and other people in the news. We aim to be accurate. Biographies can be incomplete, out of date, or disputed.
If a profile is wrong and it is about you, or you are authorised to write on someone's behalf, use the contact form (choose “Profile update”) or email [email protected]. We may ask you to show why a change should be made.
Comments and messages
Comments are optional. You grant Kobogist a non-exclusive licence to display your comment on the article and to moderate, edit, or remove it. Comments are not live by default — they wait for review.
