Elections
Nigeria holds two rounds of voting in its 2027 general election. On 16 January 2027, the country elects a president, 109 senators, and 360 members of the House of Representatives. Three weeks later, on 6 February 2027, 28 states elect governors and state assembly members - the other eight states (Anambra, Bayelsa, Edo, Ekiti, Imo, Kogi, Ondo, Osun) hold governorship elections on their own, off-cycle schedules.
This hub tracks every race: candidates and parties for president, governor, senate and House of Reps; INEC's official dates; and results as they're declared. Party primaries concluded in May 2026, so the candidate lineup below is confirmed, not projected.
