Nigeria elects a president on 16 January 2027, alongside 109 senators and 360 members of the House of Representatives. Party primaries concluded in May 2026, so the field below is confirmed.
To win outright, a candidate needs the highest number of votes overall and at least 25% of the vote in two-thirds of Nigeria's 36 states (24 states). If no candidate meets that threshold, the top two go to a runoff.
