Muyiwa Ademola, popularly known as "Muyiwa Authentic", is a highly decorated Nigerian actor, film producer, and director. A master of deeply emotional and philosophical storytelling, he is widely regarded as one of the most intellectually gifted filmmakers in the Yoruba film industry.
Born on January 26, 1971, in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria, Muyiwa was raised in a highly disciplined and religious household. His father was a deeply respected cleric, which instilled in Muyiwa a strong moral compass that often reflects in the didactic themes of his movies.
He attended St. David's High School in Abeokuta for his secondary education. Following his passion for knowledge and teaching, he later attended the University of Ibadan, where he successfully obtained a degree in Adult Education.
