Gideon Okeke

Early Life

Gideon Okeke was born on July 23, 1983, in Anambra State, Nigeria. He grew up in Lagos and attended the University of Lagos, where he studied Creative Arts. His passion for acting developed early, and he honed his craft in school productions before stepping into the limelight.

Career

Okeke first caught the public's attention in 2006 as a contestant on the inaugural Big Brother Nigeria. Though he didn't win, the exposure opened doors. He soon landed the role of Phillip Ade-Williams on the M-Net series Tinsel, a character that made him a household name. He played the part for several years, earning a loyal fan base.

Beyond television, Okeke has made his mark on the big screen. He starred in the 2016 Ebola drama 93 Days, alongside notable actors like Danny Glover. He has also appeared in films such as Gidi Up and Slow Country, and has worked with directors like Steve Gukas and Kenneth Gyang.
