Find Your Polling Unit

Steps

1. 01

   Open INEC's locator

inecnigeria.org/polling-units links to the official polling unit locator.

2. 02

   Search

Select your state, local government area and ward, then click Search.

3. 03

   Read your polling unit code

It is printed on your PVC in the form State/LGA/Ward/Unit, for example 01/02/03/004.

4. 04

   Visit before election day

Directions are approximate, so check the location in advance.

5. 05

Ignore messages that tell you to text your PVC code to 8014

INEC has said this is not a way to find your polling unit.

6. 06

Vote only at your assigned unit

The BVAS accreditation system will not accredit you elsewhere.
