A New Vision Behind the Camera

David Ayer directed the original film, bringing his signature gritty style. For the sequel, Ayer steps back into an executive producer role.

Taking the reins is Timo Tjahjanto. If you know action cinema, that name should immediately grab your attention. Tjahjanto is the mastermind behind wildly visceral films like The Night Comes for Us and the upcoming Nobody 2. Bringing his kinetic, ultra-violent directing style to the Beekeeper universe feels like a perfect match.
